4.   Theme: 'Dream' or 'Love'

5.   Running Time: No more than 60 minutes

6.   Budgetary Details

1)  The Central Academy of Drama will bear the expenses for at most EIGHT students/faculty members from each member school for their board and lodging in Beijing.

2)  Every extra participant shall pay the Central Academy of Drama 300 yuan per day for board and lodging during their stay in Beijing.

3)  International travels, as well as the production of setting, props and costumes are at the participants’ own expense.

7.  Awarding

1) There will be 3 kinds of awards respectively for Best Play, Best Performance, and Outstanding Performance.

2)  Awards for Best Play will be given to the top 1/4 of all entries.

3)  For each entry, an award for Best Performance will be given to the performer with the highest-scored (or votes), and an award for Outstanding Performance to the one with the second highest score (or votes).

4)   All institutions with entries, whether they are WTEA member or not, are qualified to be nominees.

5)   All institutions participating in the festival are entitled to delegate 1 professor to be the member of the jury, whilst a judge could not vote or score the play or performers from his/her institution for the sake of fairness.

8. Application and Review

1)  Please submit the application form and video of the play by the deadline (to be determined) for the Central Academy of Drama to review. We kindly ask for your understanding to avoid nakedness or politics-related plots or speeches.

2) The Central Academy of Drama will reply to confirm whether the application is accepted within 15 days since the video is received, and will arrange all successful applications to formulate a schedule.
